What is BSANE?
BlackSunshine is a conglomerate of hip hop and
spokenword
fused with R&B and Soul. It is the vision of Black
Atticus and
RheaSunshine to take a positive message to the world through
the
art of spokenword and hip hop. The performance poets
are consists of RheaSunshine, Black Atticus,
Courageous, STARR, Lauren Elysse, Runaway Poet, NuSense,
Psalm, Ms. LdyPoetress, and Drop Knowledge.
With voices,
beats, few props and most
importantly the Word, the group presents the world through
different eyes and talks about such subjects as
relationships, war,
poverty, music, spirituality, art, personal growth,
stereotypes, and
history. It is one of the most powerful types of
edutainment
available in the city of Knoxville.
BlackSunshine also consists a youth group known as Eclipse
with members such as Corey, JumpDrive, and Zoey.

KPS is
sponsored by BlackSunshine Arts 'N' Entertainment and is the leader in
spokenword for the city of Knoxivlle, TN. Every 2nd and 4th Friday the
Time Warp Tea Room becomes the place where words empower and challenge
people from all over the city.
People of all backgrounds come together and share in a love for
poetry, the word, and growth.
